Join us for another wonderful farm tour outing as we meet up at two wonderful locations to ride together on buses from both the Airway Hts. Rec Center and Medical Lake City Hall. We will visit first with Snapdragon Flower Farm where Farmer Beth will tell us about her passions for pollinator and dying gardens, learn about her new irrigation watering system that she can control from her phone purchase plants and flowers. If our weather ever warms up we just might get to pick bouquets in her U-pick garden too. Next we will stop at the Barn and Blossom Nursery and learn about all the fun things they have to offer from plants to purchase to their wedding venue and more. Yes, you will have time to do some shopping here as well. We will probably eat our lunches here before heading over to Casa Cano Farm where they grow delicious produce, raise beef and pork and have the cutest barn storefront. Farm tours are opportunities for you to come learn from successful farmers what works for them. Ask questions and be inspired to grow a garden, plant more flowers, improve your irrigation systems, learn what works for them in W**d control and so much more. It's a wonderful opportunity to travel together with others who are interested in farming and gardening and enjoy the day seeing how others are making their farms successful. Jersey Mike's Subs will be provided for lunch. We should arrive back the the Rec Centers by 3:30pm. This is for adults only, wear appropriate footwear for walking in fields and gardens.
