Rochester native Juliet Lloyd is a soul-infused folk/pop singer-songwriter known for her evocative storytelling, emotional depth, and genre-blending style. Her latest album, Carnival, hailed as “a powerfully emotive performance from start to finish,” moves effortlessly between indie pop, Americana, folk, and soul. With a voice that’s drawn comparisons to Brandi Carlile and Grace Potter, Juliet’s songs trace the messy middle of modern life — loss, reinvention, self-doubt, and the quiet courage it takes to begin again. A Berklee-trained songwriter and past winner of the Bernard/Ebb Songwriting Awards and Mid-Atlantic Song Contest, she’s been praised for “honest, emotionally layered songwriting” and the ability to “turn a performance into a conversation.” Since returning to music in 2020 after a decade away, Juliet has performed more than 150 shows a year across the U.S. and U.K., earning a growing following in listening rooms and festivals for her warmth, wit, and dynamic live shows.
