Julie Stella:
Based in Ottawa, Acadian singer-songwriter Julie Stella (she/her) describes her music as moody, sad girl vibes. Co-host of Indie City Madness, heard on the airwaves of CKCU on Mondays (5 to 6 pm), Julie started writing songs during the depths of the pandemic. Some might describe her songs as nostalgic, while others might say they’re achingly familiar. Writing songs helps her dig through the complex layers of despair, loss and healing.
Annie Martel:
Annie Martel is a Canadian singer-songwriter and one of Ottawa’s jewels. Martel’s sincere, contemplative songs are anointed by her unequivocal voice and thoughtful musical style. Martel has a special way of engaging with complex human themes through her music, finding healing and release through the magic of songwriting and offering listeners the same opportunity.
Chase Van Dusen:
Chase Van Dusen is an independent Canadian Singer/Songwriter from the Ottawa/Gatineau area. His latest release Blueprint was produced by JUNO Award winning producer Siegfried Meier (Face to Face, KITTIE), and mastered by Troy Glessner (Underoath, Death Cab for Cutie) at Spectre Studios. Chase will be heading back to Beach Road Studios with Siegfried Meier and Melvin Murray at the start of May 2025 to record his new EP.
