With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Julia ‘Naulene’ Pittman, a beloved wife, mother, nana, friend, and faithful servant of God. She entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 9, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.Born on October 5, 1954, Naulene dedicated her life to faith, family, and the power of music. A devout member of First United Methodist Church in Grand Prairie, she served as their cherished music minister for many years, sharing her gifts with the congregation and inspiring many through her love of worship.
Her passion for music extended beyond the church walls as she spent years as a devoted piano teacher, touching the lives of countless students with patience, encouragement, and a deep love for the art. She believed that music had the power to bring people together, and she used her talents selflessly to enrich the lives of those around her.
Above all, Naulene was a woman of boundless generosity and unwavering devotion to her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Pittman; her children, Michael Pittman and Jena Aust; her brothers, Dane Clark and Marce Clark; and her six grandchildren: Kristen Aust, Madison Aust, Cassandra Dunivan, Alexis Pittman, Julia Pittman, and Preston Pittman. She led by example—always giving, always involved, and always sharing the musical gift God gave her.
Her legacy of kindness, patience, faith, and music will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Though we mourn her passing, we find peace in knowing that she is now rejoicing in the presence of the Lord, her spirit forever carried in the melodies she so beautifully played and shared.
Visitation will be held at Bean, Massey, Burge on Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. A celebration of Naulene’s life will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at First United Methodist Church Grand Prairie, Texas at 1:00 pm. where family and friends will gather to honor her legacy. Her music and spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her song will never fade.
