Julie Marange Memorial Walk a Mile Madisonville

Join us in the Town of Madisonville for our 7th annual walk to raise awareness in the community about the serious causes, effects and remediation to men’s sexualized violence against women. Men, women, teens, and children are encouraged to participate.
After the walk, we invite you to join us for a fun-tastic after party at Madisonville Park from 5-7pm, featuring live music by Category 6, and a Shrimp Showcase sponsored by Louisiana Seafood!
Follow the ticket link to register for the event through Givebutter, and pay the required registration fee. All registered walk participants will receive the official Julie Marange Memorial Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® Mandeville t-shirt AND a wristband for food and Abita beverages at the after party. All donations benefit Safe Harbor Northshore.
To Create a Team:
1) Visit https://givebutter.com/walk-a-mile-madisonville
2) Scroll down to the Team Leaderboard and Team Members sections. Click "Join/Create Team". You will then be prompted to create an account or log into an existing Givebutter account. Once you are logged in, choose between the options to Create a Team or Join a Team.
3) Enter all info in the required fields. Select "Join this fundraiser". You will then be able to share your team page by clicking "Share fundraiser". Don't forget to go back and register yourself on your team! (Instructions follow below.)
To Register for the Walk:
1) Visit https://givebutter.com/walk-a-mile-madisonville
2) Click the "Register" button.
3) If you are registering for the walk, select the number of tickets needed. You can also select the option to donate, without purchasing a ticket. Select Continue.
4) Credit your team by selecting the team name from the drop-down list. If you wish to make a donation separate from your registration, you can specify that amount. Select Continue.
5) Enter the details for each walker; scroll down to continue adding info if you are registering more than one walker. Be sure to specify your preferred t-shirt size (adult unisex sizes only). Select Continue.
6) Enter your name and a message if you would like it to appear on the fundraising site. Select Continue.
7) The payment screen will display. You may edit the tip field, which solely supports the Givebutter platform, and will not be included in funds donated to Safe Harbor. Click the Finish button to proceed with payment.
