We're pleased to announce that the great Julian Taylor, a multi-Juno Award-nominated Canadian singer-songwriter, is returning to Chez Dauphinais in suburban Detroit (Grosse Pointe) to peform a living room show on Friday, December 6th, 2024. Tickets are $25.00 + Eventbrite fees. Taylor won the 2021 Solo Artist of the Year award at the Canadian Folk Music Awards for his album "The Ridge." His newest album, "Pathways," was released on September 27th. In a review of that record, No Depression magazine calls Julian Taylor “an insightful observer of humanity's relentless drama.” We hope you’ll join us for two 45-minute sets of amazing music! About Julian Taylor: Toronto-based singer-songwriter Julian Taylor, of combined Mohawk and Caribbean ancestry, has been part of the musical fabric in Canada for over two decades. He is a major label veteran and Toronto music scene staple. His versatility as a songwriter is his signature. Formerly a part of the band Staggered Crossing, he has recorded and performed as a solo artist since 2001. Taylor enjoyed a breakthrough year in 2020 when his second solo acoustic album, "The Ridge," earned a million plays on Spotify, worldwide praise, and numerous Canadian music awards and nominations, including Solo Artist of the Year at the Canadian Folk Music Awards and two Juno Award nominations.
