About this Event
Julia Plawgo works with dance and choreography as a survival strategy. In her performances she explores the experiential limits while setting clear boundaries for herself and the audience in her choreography. In her work ›NON-PLAYABLE CHARACTER‹, Plawgo transfers the experiences of a disembodied, adaptable, constantly changing and optimizing digital game character to the living body.
Julia Plawgo's performance will take place on 06.08. at 8 pm in the Atrium at Georgenstraße 47 — come by!

Für Julia Plawgo sind Tanz und Choreografie Überlebensstrategien. In ihren Performances lotet sie Grenzen der Erfahrung aus, während in ihrer Choreografie klare Limitierungen für sie selbst wie auch das Publikum gesetzt sind. In ihrer Arbeit ›NON-PLAYABLE CHARACTER‹ überträgt Plawgo die Erfahrungen einer körperlosen, anpassungsfähigen, sich ständig wandelnden und optimierenden digitalen Spielfigur auf den lebenden Körper.
