For this year’s christmas club, Inkonst has teamed up with local crew Melt to bring you a top-of-the-line club experience to celebrate the holidays. This time around we’re thrilled to invite one of our time’s most renowned and influential breakbeat/uk hardcore dj’s, that is - Denham Audio. Most notoriously known for the massive anthem ‘Make Me’ with Borai, Denham Audio has had a wide impact on the whole dance scene, greatly influencing the resurgence of breakbeat in the late 2010’s and early 2020’s. To top that off we have also invited the UK newcomer Jess Hands who will be joined by Mod Sens for a hefty, bass packed back-2-back set, rounded off with none other than Ekaliff.Early bird 150 sek

In a blizzard of breakbeats, b-lines and acid hooks, Denham Audio has brought new urgency and vitality to the modern rave scene. The sound he’s pushing is rooted in the legacy of UK hardcore, but those foundational sounds and styles are given a thorough spruce up, feeding into the buoyant areas of exploration happening between 140 and 160 BPM. Releases have been coming thick and fast, from early outings on Nineteen Ninety Four and Artifice through to a blistering run on WNCL, Frendzone! (alongside Violet), Lobster Theremin, Sneaker Social Club and more. Across these 12”s you can hear every shred of influence spilling out – from the upfront hardcore and jungle through to hip hop and reggae, and beyond the confines of music into sci-fi and anime.
As well as a relentless charge of rave-ready EPs and DJ sets spanning the UK and as far as Seoul, Tokyo, Berlin, New York and elsewhere, the Denham Audio pressure also piles into the Club Glow collective. Alongside Borai, LMajor and Mani Festo, Denham is presenting a communal front which first manifested as a tape series and now spans 12” drops, a monthly session on Balamii Radio and coordinated blitzes on appropriately sized dancehalls. It’s a natural extension of Denham’s production endeavours, succinctly captured on the SNKRX05 12” as “16v hatchback breakbeat NRG kickin’ it out of your Kenwood system.” We couldn’t have put it better ourselves.

London based DJ Jess Hands is a lover of bass and has quickly become recognized in the queer and underground bass music scenes. Her ability to blend UK bass, UK techno, and leftfield sounds into engaging, danceable sets has gained her attention, supporting notable artists like Jaguar and Aloka, Octo Octa and many more. This summer she made her third appearance at Body Movements festival, highlighting her growing presence in the scene.
Besides increasingly growing her presence in the UK scene, Jess has been advancing in Europe, debuting in Copenhagen and Sweden’s Way Out West festival earlier this year. Jess Hands is steadily making her mark, offering a fresh and exciting perspective in bass music.
For this occasion she’s joined by Melt co-founder Mod Sens for sound-transboundary b2b-set, merging their shared passion for bass music and left-field sounds in a meltdown of trembling sound frequencies.
