Accomplished saxophonist, composer and improvisor Alain Bradette presents a night of modern jazz, performing new, original pieces as well as songs from his debut album “State of Mind.” Featuring a classic formation of saxophone, piano, upright bass, and drums, the quartet’s dynamic sound shines through with influences from John Coltrane, Steve Grossman, Jan Garbarek and Michael Brecker.
With an approach described as “focused, energetic and poetically elegant,” (All About Jazz) Alain Bradette has been a long-standing figure in the Florida jazz scene and beyond. Besides leading his quartet, Alain is part of the show “Drawn To Life” from Cirque Du Soleil in Orlando, and also played with their “La Nouba” show for its entire 18-year run. He has performed in Canada, Europe and the United States, and two of his compositions have been recognized by the prestigious Great American Song Contest.
