We would like to invite you to the first ever EYEPOWER JUDGES TRAINING CAMP!
Spend the entire weekend with one of the most experienced and Passionate West Coast Swing Head Judges in West Coast Swing - Chuck Brown!
With over 20 years of judging experience, chief judging at well over 200 events worldwide, US Open Certified Primary Judge, a champion dancer, and has trained 100s of judges in West Coast Swing.

WHY?
Those with judging experience understand how challenging it can be. Judging is not the same as dancing or teaching; it requires a unique set of skills. As competitors, we all want to be judged by the best, so why not strive to become one of those esteemed and professional judges?
I have a background in judging ballroom dancing, where intensive learning weekends for judges are common. These sessions provide valuable knowledge and a chance to share experiences and perspectives with other judges, broadening our understanding.
The idea is to dedicate many hours to learning (including judging actual JnJ competitions and reviewing scores) and to share our thoughts and experiences. Often, there isn't enough time for discussion during event intensives. I want to ensure we have that time—both scheduled and throughout the weekend—focusing entirely on judging. This will allow us to exchange ideas and insights, helping us all improve our judging skills.

WHAT WE PLAN
Our Judging Camp is an opportunity to:
- Gain New Knowledge: Including Chuck's NEW EyePower Judging Advanced Training Program.
- Share Experience and Gain New Perspectives: Learn from each other and broaden your understanding.
- Practice: Participate in judging a real JnJ and discussing scores.
In other words, this camp is your chance to become a better and more professional judge—the kind of judge you would want to be judged by. Even if you’ve never judged before or don’t plan to, you will gain a new perspective on our dance that can help with your overall improvement as a dancer and/or a teacher.

WEEKEND PLANS
- Friday: Welcome meeting and lectures.
- Saturday: Lectures and experience sharing.
- Sunday: Real JnJ judging, followed by an overview and summary.
Social dancing every night! (Open to our WCS Kraków community, so you'll have more people to dance with.) However, we encourage you not to overdo the social dancing this weekend. Instead, focus more on thinking, talking, and learning about judging.
This is also the flashmob weekend, so if you're interested, we offer a chance to participate in a flashmob with our community. However, time is limited as our primary focus is on judging throughout the weekend.

**Meals:** As indicated on the schedule, if we need to stay at the venue during breaks, you will have the opportunity to pre-order meals. This way, you won’t need to waste time searching for food and can stay focused on the weekend’s activities.
We will provide free tea and coffee throughout the weekend. Tap water in Kraków is perfectly safe to drink.

WHO CAN ATTEND:
Our goal is to bring better judges to the community, so:
- We primarily expect those of you who already have experience with judging.
- If you've never had the opportunity to judge before but compete in the ADVANCED or ALL-STARS divisions, you are also welcome.
- The minimum dance experience required to attend is competing in the INTERMEDIATE WSDC division.
- Novice dancers (with WSDC points only) - we will accept your registration only if we have available spots.

250 EUR
(225 EUR if you already took the Chuck's Eye Power intensive before)

- 9h of lectures
- 2h of sharing experiences
- 3h of judging real JnJ practice
- 2h of the scores overview
