The Victorian home was full of dangers; from open fires and poisonous wallpaper to leaking sewer gases and explosive billiard balls. Using the Judges' Lodgings as our model, our small group tour explores how houses like ours could have been deadly to their historic inhabitants, hearing real stories of 19th century Lancastrians who came to a sticky end at home.
