This event is an opportunity to go through the Helsinki Longsword Open 2025 ruleset and have many rounds of judged sparring in a friendly but competitive atmosphere. The event is open to anyone with an interest in longsword competitions and the Nordic afterblow ruleset, not just those travelling to Helsinki! Tell your clubmates! No cap on numbers!Timetable (provisional):
13:00 Hall open and free sparring, marking rings, seeding groups for pool competition. Arrive on time!
14:00 Discussion on HLO 2025 ruleset and sample sparring, judged by all
14:30-17:00 Pool rounds split into small groups, final pool rounds
17:00-18:00 Free sparring, hall cleaning, close. Beer?
