It is with great regret that I must announce we're launching a new monthly literary open mic. Poetry, prose, performance art, extemporaneous speaking, whatever. Come take your five minutes of stage time to do whatever the hell you want, with the following exceptions:- no acoustic guitars or ukuleles
- no "tight fives" (stand-up)
We'll be featuring local veteran (and author of the two best poems I read in 2024) Tara McGowan-Ross and Willow Cioppa (one of like two poets in town who can actually make themselves heard without a mic) to get us started on the right foot. Free entry, sign up on the list when you get here--no experience necessary.
