Jr NBA is excited to come to Eastern Iowa in a developmental league setting for the 1st time ever. Kids will be split into 1 of 3 age groups with both genders. It will follow the global overseas basketball model that is dominating the NBA and the WNBA. Both leagues are now led by overseas players because they practice and play in a controlled setting. Coach Acie Earl played 8 years in 12 countries after his 4 year NBA career winning 3 MVP's in China, Turkey, and Kosovo also winning 3 championships. Our model will include 15 min of skills, 15 min of team practice and short controlled games of 20 minutes. Each player will get a JR NBA jersey and shorts. Teams and format will be different each week to highlight team play such as pick and roll, pick and pop, screen and re-screen, 5 passes, slip the screen and screen the screener.
Training Information
Dates: September 7th - October 12th; 6 Weeks on Sundays
Grades: 3/4th grades, 5/6th grades, 7/8th grades

Program and Philosophy
Grade School Kids are taught basic ball handling, dribbling,shooting form, propper lay up form, some advanced lay up moves, zig zag driblle.
Jr High Kids are taught to use the off hand just as much as the dominant hand, advanced shooting drills, fast twitch ball handling, some post moves.
High School Kids work on mikan and reverse mikan drills, back board tip drills, advanced post series from low box and wing, wing 1 on 1 drills, and advanced shooting drills.
College – Pro Level learn new drills to stay in shape, or get prepared to play at the next level for overseas or semi pro leagues. Learn the same drills the pro and college players learn.
Refund Policy:
30 days and over - 50% of camp fee paid or full camp future credit
15 -29 days - 25% of camp fee paid or full camp future credit
7-14 days -12% of camp fee paid or full camp future credit
6 days an under - future camp credit
