On September 14, let's gather to dance outside at Jamaica Pond, while the light still lingers to celebrate the end of the summer. Schedule:
4:00-5:00pm - Dance lesson
5:00-7:00pm - Social dance
Location:
Jamaica Pond Boat House
- You can find free parking on Sundays at Spring Park and Centre Street. You may also find parking closer to the pond. (Come early, bring a picnic! Coordinate with friends!)
- The closest T station is Green Street.
- Also a beautiful bike ride along the Emerald Necklace.
Suggested donation:
$20 general
$10 student/senior
FREE for volunteers! Please respond to this email if you would be willing to help out at the door for half an hour, and let us know your preference among the following slots: 4-4:30, 4:30-5, 5-5:30, 5:30-6, 6-6:30, 6:30-7.
All donations go to support our mission: Swing dancing in the Jamaica Plain area, honoring the roots of the art form in pre-WWII, enjoying nature, and great live music if possible!
We can accept cash or Venmo at the door.
