About this Event
A slow paced women’s ride suitable for anyone who just learned to ride a bike or is getting back into cycling. As long as you can steer, pedal and use your brakes this is right for you. We aim to build your confidence by cycling on mostly quiet roads.
We will be meeting at 10am at Granville Community Centre, 80 Granville Road, NW6 5RA.
If you need to borrow a bike PLEASE arrive at least 15 minutes early so we have time to adjust the bike for you.
We will ride to Old Oak common along the canal and mostly quiet roads. We will stop for a break at a cafe before riding back to Kilburn. We aim to be back by 1230pm.
We will set off promptly so please make sure you arrive on time.
Please bring with you:
- Water / Snacks
- Money/Card if you wish to buy something from cafe
- A mask if you prefer to wear one
- Spare inner tube for your own bike
- A bike lock for your own bike
- A helmet if you wish to wear one
PLEASE NOTE:
If you can't come pls let us know as soon as possible so we can offer the place to someone on our waiting list as places are very limited.
We are not cycle instructors and this is not a cycle lesson. Ideally you can already pedal, brake and steer a bike - even if the last time was a few years ago.
If you have any further questions pls email us on [email protected]
