In September 2023, Watoto, a Christ-centered ministry in Uganda, launched the Watoto Children’s Choir tour in the USA, performing songs from their new album, “Better Days—There Is Hope.” The choir shares stories of orphaned and abandoned African children who, through love and care, have risen above their circumstances to become future leaders. Since 1994, the choir has traveled globally, performing for notable figures like the President of the United States and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, while also meeting countless people in need and sharing a message of hope. Their vibrant and colorful production reflects the spirit of Africa, taking audiences on an emotional journey as the children sing, dance, and share restoration stories. Proceeds from the tour and album support Watoto’s mission to provide vulnerable children with education, medical care, a safe home, and the love of a family. Established during Uganda’s civil war in 1984, Watoto has rescued thousands of children, placed them in loving families, empowered vulnerable women, and sent over 100 choirs across six continents to celebrate Christ and care for communities.Enjoy rich and vibrant worship with us on Nov 10th at 3pm in the Sanctuary.
