Join us on Friday, December 5, at 7 PM for another wonderful SLC MOVIE NIGHT.
This time we will be watching JOYEUX NOEL (Merry Christmas), which was an Academy Award and Golden Globe award nominated film.
The movie tells the true story of the spontaneous Christmas Eve truce declared by Scottish, French, and German troops in the trenches of World War I. Enemies leave their weapons behind for one night as they band together in brotherhood and forget about the brutalities of war. This experience changed many lives.
The New York Times said that this movie was “visually sweeping,” and Ebert & Roeper gave it “Two Thumbs Up.”
The concession stand opens at 6:45 PM, and following the movie Rev. Rick will lead us in a short discussion. This MOVIE NIGHT truly will be a wonderful Christmas experience!
