JoyCycle is an open-studio series where creativity becomes a weekly practice of healing, play, and radical self-acceptance.Anything that makes your hands happy is welcome here. Bring something that calls for your attention:
👖 a pair of jeans to upcycle
🎨 a painting or collage in progress
🧵 an embroidery or sewing project
✍️ a sketchbook waiting for new ideas
Each Sunday, my home studio transforms into a shared space for color, craft, and community. Bring something to mend or make — jeans to upcycle, an embroidery project in progress, or fabric to transform with my Dash & Bag dye experience. You can experiment, continue a project week after week, or be surrounded by creative energy and good people.
This is not a class. There’s no agenda. Just open hands, open hearts, and open space to make something better.
🧵 What You’ll Find Here
- Sewing machines, embroidery thread, and shared tools
- 150 Dash-Dye pigments ($10 per standard-sized item)
- Tea, cocoa, and community snacks
- Encouragement, conversation, and color therapy in motion
🎨 What to Bring
- A garment or object to repair, embellish, or reinvent

- Curiosity, courage, and comfort in making a beautiful mess
💫 The Heart of JoyCycle
JoyCycle is built on the idea that more infinite joy is possible when we look honestly at what is and do something small to make it better. Every stitch, brushstroke, or color choice is a radical act of creation in a world that asks us to consume. When we fix, dye, and make with our hands, we remember that perfection isn’t the goal — aliveness is. Come once, come often. Return to your project or start a new one. The joy is in the cycle. ♾️
🌿 Ongoing Series
Every Sunday · 2–6 PM · Drop in, sip cocoa, make something colorful, and join the rhythm of creative renewal. Let’s turn ordinary Sundays into sacred time for transformation — one stitch, one hue, one act of infinite joy at a time.
- Venmo @CurlyHost for the dash-dyeing portion of the event.
