We want to invite you to join us for a night of food, fun and live music!
Music is a salve for the soul. More than any other season, Christmas possesses a soundtrack all its own. The music has the power to bring up memories and the power to stir the heart. The goal of Sheldon Jones who founded Joy to the Burg was to stir the hearts of all in the city of Harrisburg to respond to their neighbors in love, to provide hope in the midst of struggle, to provide support in the midst of pain. Joy to the Burg is not just another Christmas tradition, it is a movement, a collaboration of musicians from across central Pennsylvania seeking to offer something beautiful and hopeful for those experiencing homelessness. Joy to the Burg has supported not just outreach to but the housing of individuals experiencing homelessness. Individuals like Bob who after experiencing multiples years on the street moved into his own apartment this year. Join us for the 7th Joy to the Burg Benefit Concert to support outreach to those experiencing homelessness here in Harrisburg.
