Summer can often be an over-stimulating time, trying to pack stuff in while there is good weather, leading to stress even though we've waited so long through the dark months for it! Join Danielle, a trained Forest Bathing guide, for an opportunity to relax, restore and reconnect to Nature and yourself in a fresh way. Forest Bathing sessions are offered every month, so you can have a regular space to reset. Each session will have a different focus, and different invitations, but with a grounded structure so you can relax.
This month's focus is: The Power of Pines! We'll be learning a little about Scotland's amazing, healing National tree, and basking in its wonderfulness! We'll be reimagining our local woods - Muiry Woods - in a new way.
No swimming involved!
Forest Bathing is a beautiful evidence based practice connected to the Japanese practice of Shinrin Yoku.
You will be guided on a gentle walk to help you slow down, relax and connect to yourself and your surroundings. I offer simple, optional sensory invitations to help deepen the experience, and foraged tea and snacks at the end.
By the end, you'll be refreshed and relaxed after immersing in the restorative power of the natural world. You'll take away nature-based practices that you can incorporate into your own outside time. A perfect way to recharge your weekend and prepare for the week and month ahead.
PRICE: £21, which includes a woodland themed tea, homemade sweet treat (gf/vegan available), and a donation to Forres Community Woodland Trust. Concessions available, please drop me a line.
LOCATION: Muiry Woods. We'll meet at the Council Woods car park at 10am. There is also an opportunity to park at the flood alleviation car park across the road.
