We are welcoming folks of all ages, abilities, body sizes, and backgrounds to join us for an Intro to the Joy of Capoeira beginner workshop on February 20th from 7 - 8:40 pm at High Desert Martial Arts! Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance, acrobatics, culture, and music. It is known for its quick and complex moves, using power, speed, and leverage for a wide variety of kicks, spins, and highly mobile techniques. This event is perfect for beginners looking to try something new and engaging.
$20 and $15 for each friend of family member you bring! (Plus, a group capoeira T-shirt!)
