About the Speaker:
ShafeeQ Ameen Ph.D., an Associate Professor at Norfolk State University, will bless us with an inspirational talk this Sunday. We open our hearts and minds to hear his message.
He is a Director, Assistant Professor & Author with over twenty-five years of experience in public, private & higher education. ShafeeQ tells us "I cannot teach anybody anything. I can only make them think. Your mind is the window to your future."
Dr. ShafeeQ Ameen says that he is a student-centered teacher. He looks at the student from a holistic perspective and creates strategies to help the individual become successful in class and beyond. He has helped many teachers and administrators to develop their skills in their particular areas.
Those who wish to silently light a candle before the service may do so. After the service ends, you may request that a pastor assist you with healing prayer at the candle lighting table. Street parking is limited, but there is additional parking available at WT Cooke Elementary School.
