About the Author:
Joy Bashara is a retired high school language arts teacher who has worked in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and North Dakota as well as internationally for the U.S department of State as a Fulbright Fellowship recipient. She is also the author of the children’s book series The Gnome Came Home and the play Eilert’s Long Way Home. This is her first memoir.
