Georgia native Gary R. Farmer has been creating her backing tracks for a number of years but more recently they have collaborated on many projects included a full album which won Joy the prestigious title of International Female Album of the Year at the ISSA Awards held in Atlanta, GA last August.
Just One Little Thing has been receiving excellent airplay all around the world and features two self-penned songs from Joy and four songs co-written with Gary R. Farmer. “Teach Your Children” and “Make The World Go Away” went to the #1 position on the Irish Country Radio Charts and “Teach Your Children” reached #8 on the Australian Country Top 40 Charts.
To date Joy has released 21 albums that have enjoyed exceptional response from her audiences. She is in her element with country music but is no stranger to performing easy listening, comedy, and gospel music as well. Many songs on her albums include self-penned songs that have been recorded by numerous other artists.
