We wander delicately among the sticky clumps of clingfilm, hand in hand, our shadows blending into aquamarine hues on the crumpled foil. Not long ago, we were shackled convicts, guiding our way with the fading torch of growing fatigue. All we could do was slowly sprout bars of rebar through the smoky remnants of serotonin, greedily grasping the lavender breeze with our gills.The mountain ridges of the griffins' edge parted to reveal the path to the Basilica of JOY, guided by the broken lines of light, casting occasional glances backward, urging us to keep pace. We traversed through coal dust and tattered edges, savoring iodized bowls miasmatically and willingly succumbing to a whirlpool of condensed mermaid's milk.
Imbued with the cold sterility of death and heavy with tragedy, we return to the Temple to scatter melancholic purple and crown the bride of the planetary logos. On May 10th, foghorns will echo through Sameheads: for the first time within the club's walls, Marseille's Cardinal & Nun, a member of New York's L.I.E.S. Records and master of dark machine romanticism, will present his live show. Joining him will be Ugetsu Monogatari, a serene guardian of weathered pages from the Edo period, and Səriim, a lunar shadow of claustrophobic electronics.
