Join our daytrip to discover the old windmill of Vernon and the house and garden of Claude Monet.
? The Old Mill of Vernon: is located a few kilometers from Giverny. A half-timbered monument, one of the latest of its kind, built in the XVI century. It is now one of the last bridges with a house in the world.
? Claude Monet, worldwide famous painter, fascinated by gardening as well as by colors, he designed his flower and water garden as a work of art, which has been an inspiration for many of his paintings.
? Giverny (his house) is full of memories, with its old living room - studio and his impressive collection of Japanese prints. The garden itself contains a water garden, full of oriental plants, weeping willows, water lilies and the Japanese bridge painted in green.
? Daytrip: Departure from Paris towards Vernon where we will stop for lunch and to visit the old bridge with its house and the mill. Arrival at Giverny at the start of the afternoon, free time to visit the house and gardens of Claude Monet as well as the museum of impressionists.
Return to Paris is scheduled for 7.30 p.m.
