The first in a series of four JourneySpiral in-person workshops inviting you to explore the themes of the season through mixed media art and journaling. You can come to one, some or all of the sessions! Guided by 'Lantern', a JourneySpiral oracle card chosen to reflect the energy of the time of year, these sessions offer a chance to connect with seasonal cycles and your own inner world. This February workshop will celebrate the fresh beginnings of late winter, combining writing, drawing, and collage to spark creativity and reflection in a supportive, inspiring space. 'Lantern' signifies guidance, truth and direction and is perfect to explore the first glimmerings of spring!
Lantern is your guiding light, the inner fire that always tells you what to do and where to go, fuelled by your own principles, purpose and passions.
Think of a lantern set on the windowsill of a place called ‘home’. This can be a powerful thought, especially if you have felt directionless and uncertain.
Come and explore this theme with us using a variety of drawing and painting materials, words and images.
Whether you’re an experienced artist or just starting, this workshop is a wonderful opportunity to develop your skills, explore new techniques, and connect with fellow creatives. Most materials will be provided, you will need to bring a blank journal, or if you don't have one we will have paper for you to use.
Spaces are limited, so be sure to secure your spot today and get ready for a day of artistic exploration! This workshop will be held in the charming Victorian Bitterne Station community hub.
