Journey's End is a South African wine estate in the Stellenbosch region, founded in 1995 when the Gabb family, originally from Shropshire in the UK, fell in love with the property and restored it to its former glory. Today, the estate spans 40 hectares of beautiful vineyards and is celebrated for its ethical and sustainable winemaking, holding Fairtrade and WIETA/IPW certifications, running on solar power, and being recognized as a WWF Conservation Champion. Nestled in the Schapenberg hills, the vineyards are rooted in 350-million-year-old decomposed granite soils, creating one of South Africa’s most prestigious terroirs. Here, the vines enjoy spectacular views and the cooling, cleansing south-easterly wind — known locally as the “Cape Doctor” — which blows in from nearby False Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, contributing to the distinctive character of Journey’s End wines.Sip, swirl, and savour!
