Join us for an immersive day of powerful storytelling and real conversations as we hear from four incredible women across sport, arts, business, and wellness.
Through two Couch Conversations, they’ll open up about their unique journeys—the triumphs, the setbacks, and the defining moments that shaped their careers and lives.
Expect honest discussions about breaking barriers in male-dominated industries, navigating perimenopause and women’s health, balancing career and motherhood, finding resilience in the face of challenges, and the importance of wellness, self-belief, and personal growth.
These women bring a wealth of wisdom, and nothing is off the table.
More than just an event, Journeys is a space to connect, reflect, and be inspired by the raw, unfiltered experiences of women who have paved their own way.
At Elevate, we are passionate about supporting local, female-led businesses, and we’re proud to bring together a lineup of incredible local talent for this event. Our venue is the vibrant Errick’s Venue, Dunedin’s most exciting music and event space, led by the amazing Mili Lobo—a true powerhouse in our community and an incredible supporter of the Elevate community since the beginning.
The event signage will be designed by the talented Amanda Cookson at Positive Signs and Print, who will add her signature glamour to create a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere. We're also thrilled to have Lemon Pie Caravan bringing their culinary brilliance to the table, serving up a delicious, healthy brunch made from fresh, locally-sourced ingredients.
To set the perfect vibe for brunch, we’ll be treated to live music from the incredibly talented Just Janie, who will serenade us with her soulful vocals and guitar. After lunch, Janie will also lead us in a short art focused wellness session before we regroup with all of the speakers for a Q&A session.
Then to wrap up the day, our keynote speaker Nicola Brown will infuse the room with her energy and hilarity.
The venue will remain open for 30mins after the event to allow space for attendees opportunity to connect and network with other like minded women in business.
