Top Hat Supply for Journeys is excited to begin offering creative journeying twice a month for those who are looking to reconnect with their creative possibility or for those who simply want to strengthen that connection in themselves. It's like a drop in class of yoga, but for stretching your imagination and intuition.
Darcie Shively is a local artist who will be using her own experience reconnecting with the creative spirit as well as her Shamanic training to guide us in a group journey. Whereas meditation is being aware of what arises, journeying involves following certain things that arise and seeing where they lead. We will use sound instruments to silence distraction and tune in deeper with our intuition and imagination, opening ourselves up to our unique creative voice and sense of possibility. Together, we will learn more about what creativity actually is.
Top Hat Supply for Journeys is an experimental art studio and nonprofit seeking to reconnect people with the creative spirit. We believe when we strengthen the creative in ourselves we create a world with more possibility for beauty and connection.
Please arrive at 6:00. We will begin promptly at 6:15 and will not be able to accommodate those arriving late as it will disrupt the guided meditation. No knowledge or experience with anything is necessary. This is a creative sanctuary and we hold space for people to just enjoy themselves and be playful in trying something new.
