Journey to Hanumanasana with Tatiana
Full front splits, or Hanumanasana, can feel far from comfortable. Learning to approach discomfort with ease is an art in itself. Through this, we learn to strengthen both the body and the mind.
Join us for a workshop that will help you find more comfort and depth in your splits practice, no matter what stage you are currently in.
This workshop will begin with a warmup and targeted exercises to help strengthen and lengthen the lower body, particularly the hips and hamstrings. You will then explore various methods of approaching your splits to help you access more depth within the pose. You’ll also get to learn about the mythology and philosophy behind practicing this asana!
In this workshop, you’ll learn to find ease within discomfort, pushing your body safely beyond its current limits. Expect to walk away with the tools you’ll need to deepen your splits practice for well beyond the duration of this session.
This workshop is open to those who have at least a little bit of yoga experience and are looking to access more depth in their splits practice.
