Yoga without mantra is a bit like cake without the icing!
By now, we all know that everything essentially is vibration.
Yoga knew this 1000's of years ago, that is why sound is the first tool of Yoga.
The use of a mantra is a powerful tool for healing, emotional and mental clarity, and spiritual development.
Learn about the pranavah mantra ( om) as it relates to Yoga Practice.
In this 2-hour workshop, you will be taught the traditional and respectful way to use this sacred sound and what it means.
We will draw on the ancient texts of Yoga as our point of reference (Patanjali's Yoga Sutras).
You will be guided in a variety of accessible practices to experience the effects of this mantra.
This workshop can open new dimensions to your practice, or it is also a great way to start on the Yoga Journey.
I teach from the Viniyoga tradition of Krishnamacharya, where mantra is used as an integral aspect of Yoga, whether it be asana, pranayama, or meditation.
This workshop will be nourishing to all the dimensions -heart, mind, and body.
You do not need to be a singer at all-just be willing to have a go at making a sound, even in your head if out loud feels too weird.Tickets $40 from Humanatrix https://events.humanitix.com/journey-into-om/tickets
