Jorge Espinal - Prepared guitar, bass drum, cowbell, pedals and laptop.Jorge Espinal is a Peruvian guitarist and improviser based in Buenos Aires. His solo project explores the limits of physical rhythmic independence, expanding the possibilities of the prepared electric guitar. Elements of noise are redefined under the blessing of Latin American rhythms.
With guitar, bass drum, cowbell, pedals, and a laptop, he triggers samples, loops, freezes sounds, and uses the guitar more as a rhythmic instrument than a harmonic one.

Espinal is a member of Ricarda Cometa and Calato. He has released music on labels in Argentina, Peru, Switzerland, and the U.S., and has toured extensively, presenting his work at key festivals and venues worldwide.
