Blending powerhouse vocals with soaring melodies and sharp lyrics, Jordan Friend is a songwriter and storyteller with a big, adventurous sound, and plenty of humor and heart. Born and raised in Washington, DC, he is also an actor and stage director, and he brings a theatrical bent to his music, building a deep connection with audiences through his quick wit and vulnerability. Jordan's songs mix elements of classic rock, indie folk and cabaret, with his versatile voice seamlessly gliding between styles and registers. During lockdown, he wrote and composed OLD SOUL, a stand-up/concert mashup which he performed a live virtual tour of for global audiences via interactive video call. Jordan has trained as a songwriter with world-renowned recording artist Ben Folds, who featured his music for his "Lightning Bugs" online songwrite masterclass.
