This classic Run-Swim-Run event format is suitable for all age groups and includes both junior (7-11Yrs upwards) and a short Bolt distance (Juniors 12yrs+ & Seniors) and a 1500m Swim Challenge. For 2026 the Long distance race at the Joondalup Autumn Classic is the WA Aquathlon State Championship for both Junior and Senior age groups as well as a point score event for the WA Multisports State Series 2025/26
