3-Hour Workshop

Time: 10am-1pm
Description: Since our first class in January was so successful we have decided to offer it again! We will learn the ancient art of making laminated sheets of mulberry paper into a new sheet of paper that can be used as is or can be part of collage, mixed media, or three dimensional work. Students who attend the first class in January will learn new techniques this time around. Students will leave with a completed piece.
Tuition: $55 + $25 materials fee
Materials: All materials will be provided.

Cancellations and Refunds: Workshop cancellations are decided three business days before the start date. If workshops must be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, the entire class fee will be refunded through Eventbrite, or you may leave your workshop fee in your Contemporary Craft account for future workshops.
Refund Policy: Student refund requests must be made at least three business days before a class begins. There will be a $25 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given without three-business days notice. Processing of refunds takes approximately three weeks.
About the Artist
Rae Gold has a BFA from Carnegie Institute of Technology (now Carnegie Mellon University). She created one of a kin wearables for 30 years, showing and selling at ACC Baltimore Craft Show, Philadelphia Museuem of Art Craft Show, Smithsonian Craft Show, and Washington Craft Show, among others.
For the last ten years she has been creating three dimensional wet felted sculptures, two and three dimensional Joomchi work, and now playing with natural basketry forms.
