What happens when two madcap visionaries - one an electronic music pioneer, the other a love troubadour of uplifting non-duality anthems, both filled with the joys of spirit and a passion for bringing together and serving their community by creating joy-filled gatherings - what happens when these two join forces and decide to see what magic might be weaved by the juxtaposition of their offerings, the cross pollination of their playful, dancing muses (yes that's YOU if you're going to be in the audience!) and the shooting of magic dust over one and all that other benificent musical spirits (that is Coco Harris, Devin Shael Fox, Jon MacIsaac and Robert Sherwood) would surely bring to bear on such a gathering ....?Well what you get is 4 magical, expansive, joy-filled nights of connection and community strung across two weekends, in Halifax and near Bridgwater and then up in Sydney and Margaree. Nights that will help you ease into the deep shoulder of early winter, that will allow you to cathartically release the anxieties and tensions of fall and rest, delighted, in the present.
In short: its a proper night out. And this one here, at The Carleton in Halifax, will get the ball rolling. It's the home game before the tour. We'll all be there. Buy your tix at link below - early birds available for cheap, then it gets progressively a little more expensive. The room at The Carleton will be set up for dancing. The sound will be excellent. Music will start at 8. It will be a show - a set from the band, a set from Wallah, both of our offerings augmented by our special guests Coco and pianist Robert Sherwood who is coming from Massachusetts for the tour, but it will be more than that - it will be our first go at seeing how we can integrate our different offerings into each others sets.... and most importantly, it needs YOU! to dance, to shine your eyes on us, to sing along, to connect your hearts to ours to magnify it all and to share that with ourselves and with all beings!

Mike Campbell of The Carleton writes:
"After a long absence from our stage, spiritual troubadour (Brit/Haligonian/now Cape Bretoner) Jont returns with new band, The Fish, – along with the multi-talented Wobble Wallah – to gang up for a celebratory, feel-good, show at The Carleton on Friday, November 29th. Show time is 8 PM and early-bird tickets are $20 + HST but will increase to $25 + HST after those are gone.."

JONT SAYS:
“I’ll be playing with my band, they are Haligonians Jon MacIsaac (Kilmore, Earth Altar The Infinite Possibility) and Devin Shael Fox (Matt Steele) and keyboard player Robert Sherwood formerly of the 90s band Fiction. He will be flying in from Massachusetts for the gig.
We formed at the beginning of the year and after an initial creative burst recorded our debut album on the last day the legendary Halifax studio Sonic Temple was open, recording the essentials of the album, titled Walk Right Through, in a single day.
The feeling people get from my music is always the same – whether the genre is the intimate indie of the current incarnation, or the medicine pop or late night singer-songwriter vibes of other albums, generally a feeling of well-being; uplifting, exuberant, and joyful emotions are the kind of thing that you might expect – heart-opening is a word people use. People cry. People dance. People laugh at the absurd stream of consciousness rambles between songs and people sing along, sometimes when they’ve never even heard the song before. I haven’t played the Carleton for a while but it used to be my regular place to play when I lived in Halifax. I look forward to seeing some old faces in the crowd if they decide to come out.”
