Calling all artists, crafters, artisans, creators, business owners, visionaries, and arts and crafts lovers, we are thrilled to invite you to Joni's ArtRAGEOUS! Retreat, a three-day arts and crafts extravaganza on May 4, 5, and 6, 2025. This phenomenal retreat is coordinated by award-winning multi-faceted artist, crafter, and teacher Joni Hasselbach. Joni and her husband Paul will host the retreat at their business, Pottery Perfection in historic downtown Fremont, Ohio.
This 3-day retreat will feature numerous unique arts and crafts classes instructed by professional artists and crafters from throughout the country. Guests will create a variety of unique projects, including glass fusion, stoneware, mandala dot art, painting on unconventional surfaces, a Bob Ross seascape oil on canvas, painting with a sock and liner brush, candlemaking, felting, gourd crafting and hydro-dipping. These projects will develop our guest's creative skills, provide artistic growth, and nurture their interest and love for arts and crafts. Our featured guest speaker, Tyler Kneeskern, President and CEO of the Sandusky County Chamber of Commerce, will present a workshop on marketing and designing with the software graphic design program Canva. We will also have a lunch and learn session with Sarah Bill owner and creator of Paint & Create with Sarah. She will give an informative presentation on marketing your business to fill seats.
The retreat will be held daily from 9 am to 5 pm with an hour break for lunch. Included in the price of the retreat is a daily continental breakfast, a May 5 Cinco de Mayo catered taco bar, and a special tour of the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library & Museums on the historic grounds of Spiegel Grove in Fremont. For after-hours enjoyment, we highly recommend a 20-minute drive to Port Clinton, Ohio, to visit the shores of beautiful Lake Erie, where you can walk along the beach and view a beautiful Ohio sunset.
