Please join fellow JCP students, faculty, alumni, parents, and supporters for the Eighth Annual Eagle Run, a fun run and walk sponsored by Friends of Jones (FOJ).
Held in historic Washington Park near the University of Chicago’s Hyde Park campus, the run will take you on a beautiful, tree-lined flat course that circles the lagoons.
Runners and walkers of all ages and capabilities are welcome. Participants will receive official timed results, a commemorative shirt*, a medal and refreshments during the event.
All profits from the JCP 5K Eagle Run/Walk will be donated to participating JCP Clubs/Organizations. Your donation may be designated to specific JCP Clubs, a specific Class of (2023, 2024, 2025, 2026), or the Friends of Jones Fund to be distributed back to support the students of Jones College Prep.
Awards Ceremony will take place at Washington Park - with awards for top finishers by category including but not limited to: Student, Faculty, and Supporter. Additional Awards include top Club/Team Costume, and top Fundraiser.

November 3rd/4th - Pre-race packet pick up:
3:15PM-4:30 PM race packet pickup Jones College Prep (700 S. State)
You must bring a photo ID /confirmation email to receive your packet.
Sunday, November 6th: Race Day
8:30 - 9:30 AM Packet pick-up and day-of registration
10:00 AM Initial Start for 5K
11:15 AM Costume Contest, Awards Ceremony and Raffle Drawing

Stop by the Check-in table with your team before the race and show off your Team Costume! The best costume winner will be announced at Awards!
Buy raffle tickets at checkout for a chance to win sporting event tickets, gift cards, and other prizes. Winners need not be present.

If you can’t attend on race day, please consider supporting Friends of Jones by making a donation or purchasing raffle tickets. Your support will empower JCP Student Clubs to achieve more in 2022-23.
