JONATHAN COULTON and PAUL & STORMJonathan Coulton is known for his eclectic catalog of masterful songwriting on subjects from zombies and mad scientists to sad parents and dissatisfied software engineers. He’s written songs for The Good Fight and Braindead TV series, as well as the Portal video games, and Spongebob Squarepants: The Broadway Musical. He was the house musician for the NPR show Ask Me Another and is the host and namesake of an annual floating nerd convention called JoCo Cruise.
Paul and Storm (Paul Sabourin and Greg “Storm” DiCostanzo) have made original comedy music together (often with a “nerd-ish” bent) since 2004. They also co-founded and co-produce the annual music/comedy/nerd cruise event JoCo Cruise. Their song “Another Irish Drinking Song” was featured in the film Despicable Me 2, and have had their guitar smashed on stage by George R. R. Martin. (They deserved it.) They were also writers for, and contributed numerous songs to, the past three seasons of Mystery Science Theater 3000.
