Join improvising bassist & effects pioneer Jonathan Colman for a masterclass on Friday, March 21st from 12-2pm at Park City Music Hall. Jonathan will share his insights and applications of George Russell's paradigm-shattering Lydian Chromatic Concept of tonal organization.
Break out the box of your familiar pentatonic approaches and come away with new musical colors to paint with.
This masterclass will introduce:
• the seven unique scales associated with the concept
• how to wield them over major, minor, & dominant chords
• "thinking in Lydian" over familiar chord progressions
