Jon Moss was in charge of the GM Special Vehicles Group known world-wide as "The Toy Box."
His greatest contribution, however, was unknown to the public until the publishing of his biography, "Keys to the Kingdom."
Jon Moss, Chevy General Manage Jim Perkins, and Chevy VP Joel Spielman, were part of the "greatest black operation in automotive history" when Perkins moved $2.5 million off book to build a new C5 Corvette prototype. Why? The Corvette was being Cancelled on June 12, 1993. The votes were a certaintly.
For the first time EVER Jon Moss and the author of "Keys to the Kingdom" Sean E. Reavie, present the black operation via power point. It was so under cover, nobody knew outside of the team. Had they been found out, they were going to be fired and go to prison. Jon Moss saved the Corvette. Without him, no Corvettes after the C4 ran its course. You will be stunned.
Jon Moss created 20 years of Indy Pace cars. He is the ONLY non-driver to be presented an Indy 500 ring. He is the Godfather of the wicked 1994-1996 Impala SS. He created the ZL-1 572 Camaro.with 770 horses and 683 ft-lbs of torque.

Jon restored the legendary, "LItte Duece Coupe" and built cars for Tim Allen, Jay Leno, Greg Norman, Dale Earnhardt, and many more.
After the Columbine School Shooting, it was learned one of the victims, John Tomlin, was a Chevy fanatic and was pouring money into his beat-up 1986 Chevy Step-side truck. Jon had the truck shipped to Detroit and restored it the way John Tomlin wanted and gave it to the family.

Jon has asked proceeds from the Car Show be donated to Put on the Cape a Foundation for Hope. The 501c3 supports seven Child Advocacy Centers in the Valley to empower children suffering from physical and sexual abuse.
