When: 9th of November 2024
Where: Jolt Games, 56 Hoskins Street Mitchell, ACT 2911
Payment details: $25 on the day
What: 2000pts The Old World (TOW)
Time: 10:00am arrival
Player cap: We have room for 24 players
Army lists: I will not be taking lists for the event just make sure that they are correct and you have a copy available for your opponent. It is the responsibility of the player to make sure that their list is legal, if it is found to be otherwise there may be a TP deduction.
Scoring: Scoring and pairing will be done using the Best Coast Pairing app. I recommend downloading and registering to the event through the app before the day (to rego just search the event in the app). This will allow players to enter their own results and save cutting down a tree for paper.
Game related things:
-All latest FAQs from GW will be in use.
-All missions will selected out of the BRB on the day.
-All forests will count as difficult terrain.
Army construction:
-All Army lists are to be drawn from Ravening Hordes, Forces of Fantasy, Arcane Journals and Legacy Lists
-No Allies
-No Mercenaries
-Wood Elf forests will count as difficult terrain and should be no bigger then 12X10 inches and will count as a solid foot print (no channels or cut outs).
Army comp:
-There will be no army restrictions for this event, however I would urge all players to be mindful of playing to the spirit of the event in which we want to build and grow a community of people.
General things:
-If I call dice down, it means dice down, the game ends for good or bad, remember it's up to both
players to keep the game moving along. The call will be made at the 10-minute mark for players to
"look toward even turns", this means if a game looks to be ending with uneven turns having been
played to considered finishing the game up, any games that in this state, when dice down is called
will roll back to the end of the last full turn
-LISTEN TO THE TO, if the TO yells something pay attention, it is most likely information you NEED.

Presentation and pack up: 18:30+
Sports:
-The yellow/Red card system is being used at this event to help ensure that games will be equally competitive as well as enjoyable for both players.
-If you have an issue (dodgy rolls, rules abuse, over measuring, etc.) please call over the TO if you can't resolve this first with your opponent, the TO will assess the issue and give the player a verbal warning for his first offense.
-If the player that has received a verbal warning is involved in another sports issue in the event, the TO will issue that player a yellow card where their game will count as a loss.
-If the player is involved in a third sports issue at the event, he will be given a red card and immediately disqualified from the event and will take no further place.
Painting: Painting will not be required for this event however its always better to play with a painted army!!
