Flexibility, and overall body strength, are very important factors that work to determine not just your lifespan, but your quality of life. Maybe you've noticed general decreased mobility and flexibility as you age, or you have an old injury that left you with a stiff or painful joint. Perhaps you've had to get a joint replaced and noticed that the recovery wasn't quite as easy as you expected, and you are looking for ways to increase your general flexibility.
Qigong, and the energetic principles it encompasses, can be very beneficial!
"In short, Qigong is a method of gentle self-healing exercises [25] designed to increase well-being. It can help to strengthen the body’s musculoskeletal system and cognitive function [19], increase joint flexibility, motor function, and movement coordination. It can also help activate postural improvements, and diminish pain. In addition, its application can reduce fatigue [22], stimulate the circulation, correct systemic imbalances [25], and optimize the body’s physiology."
