Please join us for this joint holiday celebration for Jazz Lovers and More Jazz clubs with the Savoy Show Band. Club membership is not required to attend this event. This 16-piece orchestra is a wonderful group of musicians for our listening and dancing pleasure. The orchestra features musical tributes to all the famous big bands of the Swing Era and their leaders. The Savoy Show Band customizes their performance to include authentic selections from the libraries of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller Stan Kenton, Woody Herman, Artie Shaw, Harry James, and other such luminaries of the big band era.The party hours are extended to 9:00 with tables and chairs for you to bring your own holiday food and beverage. We will also have a dance floor for you to stretch your legs and enjoy the music.
Tickets for the event are only $20 per person and are for sale at our two events in November (9th at Laurel Manor and 23rd at Colony Cottage). If you want to buy tickets but cannot make it to one of the other events you may message an admin in this group. Villages resident IDs or valid Villages guest pass is required for entry. Doors open at 5:30pm.
