BACK TO BERLIN
SISSOS “BACK TO BERLIN” – new CD and album release tour in April. SISSOS could hardly have found a better title for their second studio album. The Australian sibling duo spent the autumn and winter in Korea, Australia, New Zealand and Sri Lanka and are now back in Germany - more precisely in the capital, their adopted home. “Back to Berlin” is the name of the new CD. Eight songs full of soul and even more heart, two guitars and lively, radiant vocal harmonies in which the musical influences of the duo's typical mix of folk, blues, soul and a bit of pop can clearly be felt. It's about love, separation, and experiences. The adventures of two Australian women in Europe. Anyone who has ever had the pleasure of seeing SISSOS live knows what makes their music so special: their stunning vocal harmonies. Each song works in its own way and is immediately catchy. What else sets Georgie and Steph apart? Their charm, their humor, their presence, their spontaneity and, above all, the joy in what they love doing most: playing their songs live in front of an audience - whether as street musicians or at big events. The album release tour “Back To Berlin” starts on April 17th in Berlin at (Privatclub), continues on the 19th in Würzburg (Cairo) on the 20th in Stuttgart (Club Cann) on the 26th in Stralsund (Fest.Saal) and concludes on the 28th in Hamburg (The Baby Goat).
