The journey to joining the 1% of Black beverage founders and the inspiration behind creating Oklahoma's only Black-owned soda company.

Jamel Stephens was born and raised in rural Oklahoma. He found his cultural identity through artistry, which became the foundation for his company, AFROPOP. Jamel is a community leader, a NextGen 30 Under 30 awardee, and a founder and former board member of the Oklahoma City Black Chamber of Commerce.
