About this Event
The Judicial Committee of the Privy Council (JCPC) is the court of final appeal for the UK overseas territories and Crown dependencies. It also serves those Commonwealth countries that have retained the appeal to His Majesty in Council or, in the case of republics, to the Judicial Committee.
London Region Member Natasha Bennett, who is Education and Visitor Services Manager at the Supreme Court, has kindly arranged to take us on a guided tour of this fascinating building. There is more information about the Supreme Court here
Numbers will be limited, so sign up now! This will be a great experience - much more than the website indicates!!
Photography will be allowed but no tripods or videos. If there are hearings in any of the courtrooms, then no photography is permitted during a hearing.
In addition to the tour, which will last about 45 minutes, there is an interesting museum and a cafe.
