Background information:
• Funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), this $27.61 million, 82,866-square-foot project will consolidate all Sheriff's Office operations under one roof
• The three-story building, located along Albany Street between 12th and 13th Avenues, provides a necessary investment in the future of CCSO and offers adequate space and facilities for the next 20-30 years of growth. The new Administration Building will serve as the central hub for CCSO’s wide-ranging operations, with an efficient design for public access that includes all of the high community engagement functions on the first floor. Additional features of the building include:
o New Emergency Operations Center for all of Canyon County
o Classroom and training facilities
o New dispatch center
o New and more easily accessible records division
o Expanded and updated facilities for all CCSO divisions
o Pretrial and alternative sentencing services (currently located in the Dale Haile Detention Center)
o Secured parking area
